NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
AND DNR INFORMATIONAL HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Town of Holland Town Hall, the Town Board of the Town of Holland will hold a special meeting to prepare for and participate in an informational hearing to be held by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to obtain input regarding a proposed Brown County South Landfill plan of operation modification.
The plan of operation modification proposal concerns Brown County’s request to increase the contaminant concentrations allowed for its beneficial use of contaminated soils by ten times the current residual contaminant levels.
The hearing will be conducted virtually by the DNR via Zoom. The instructions to join the hearing from any location via Zoom are as follows:

The Town Board will be hosting a remote hearing participation site at the Town Hall for those who wish to participate in the hearing from that location. All interested parties are encouraged to attend at the Town Hall to participate in or view the hearing. Preregistration is not required to attend the hearing at this site.

The hearing is scheduled from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. The hearing will be held open for that entire period, so anyone wishing to participate and comment can do so at any time during that period.
